The majority of the South Rosedale families who own houses or apartments belong to the Association.

Any adult person who is an occupant or owner of a self-contained dwelling unit within the South Rosedale boundaries may become a member of the Association on payment of required dues. Membership invoices are sent out annually. Co-ownership apartment buildings are also eligible to join the Association on payment of the required fees.

Because of its large membership and substantial funding, the South Rosedale Ratepayers' Association has a great deal of influence in matters affecting the community.
